BF1 ORIGINAL FICTION
THE LAST DECENT THING
A plane crash leaves a family stranded in the wilderness. But the greatest danger isn't the mountain. It's the person who wants someone else to die.
ABOUT THE STORY
A family holiday is supposed to give Dominic and Isabella Sullivan a chance to repair their marriage.
Instead, their chartered aircraft crashes in a remote mountain wilderness.
The pilot is critically injured, communications are gone and rescue crews are searching in the wrong place. With freezing weather closing in and their son’s condition worsening, the family must work together to stay alive.
But the tensions they brought with them have survived the crash.
Their daughter watches the adults with growing suspicion. Isabella’s sister Veronica, once indispensable to the household, behaves in increasingly unsettling ways. And as food runs low, old resentments begin to shape decisions no one can afford to get wrong.
A psychological survival thriller about obsession, betrayal and a family discovering that the person beside them may be harder to trust than the wilderness around them.
