MORE THAN THIS
As her young husband's memory fades, a nurse finds herself torn between the marriage she refuses to abandon and the unexpected love that threatens everything she believes about loyalty.
ABOUT THE STORY
Lydia Hollenbeck is losing her husband a little more every day. Theo is only thirty-three, but an illness is stealing his memories, leaving her to care for a man who sometimes no longer knows her name.
Night shifts, unpaid bills and sleepless mornings are pushing Lydia to breaking point. The one person she can rely on is Glenn, Theo’s oldest friend, who knows their history better than anyone. He also knows the woman Lydia used to be.
As the boundaries between friendship, duty and desire begin to blur, Lydia finds herself wanting a life she cannot bear to imagine—and making choices she may never be able to forgive.
How do you remain faithful to someone who is disappearing before your eyes? And how much of yourself can you surrender before love becomes something else entirely?
An intimate, heartbreaking story about what survives when memory does not.
