FLEE!

When gunfire reaches their street in North Darfur, Idris has fifteen minutes to get his family into the car. His wife Samira has been preparing for this moment for weeks. He has been hoping it would never come.

With three children and Samira’s elderly mother beside them, they flee a burning town towards a border they cannot be sure of reaching. Every road brings another impossible decision. Armed checkpoints, dwindling fuel and scarce water turn ordinary acts of protection into choices that could cost someone their life.

As the journey grows more dangerous, Idris and Samira struggle to keep their family together while their eldest daughter begins questioning the decisions that brought them here. Survival demands more than finding a safe route. It demands honesty, endurance and the courage to face what cannot be undone.

How much can a family lose and still find a way forward?
